  • Passive Income – January 2008

My passive income for January was slightly lower than December, mostly because I had to pay for classes, my speeding ticket, and the bank cut my interest rate. Ah well, still not a bad start to the new year.

    • Interest: $30.58
    • Dividends: $11.53
    • Credit Card Rewards: $13
    • AdSense: $9.93
    • Text Ads: $16.02
    • Misc website income: $15

That rings up to a fairly respectable $96.06 for the month, I’m hoping to see an average of $100+ per month this year, we’ll see how that works.

  • Passive Income – December

Here’s the break down of my passive income for December 2007. I’m happy to report my passive income was slightly more than double what it was in November.

    • Interest: $48.29
    • Dividends: $11.29
    • Credit Card Rewards: $32.10
    • AdSense: $5.39
    • Text Ads: $16.02
    • Misc website income: $15

My total for December is $128.09, that’s an increase of $64.90 over November.

  • Passive Income – November

Since October I’ve been trying to cheat the system and get something for nothing, in this case, a little extra income without any work.

My total passive income for October was $63.19, not too shabby for just getting started. Here are the numbers for November.

    • Interest: $15.11
    • Dividends: $14.72
    • Credit Card Rewards: $24.58
    • AdSense: $3.13
    • Text Ads: $16.02
    • Misc website income: $15

Bringing my total passive income for November to $88.56, that an increase of $25.37 over October, and brings the total earnings since the beginning of this project to $151.75.

My main dividend stock just dropped their dividend payout to 10 cents per share for the next three months, which stinks, but I expected it.

  • Passive Income – October

At the beginning of last month I made a post about my quest to earn money doing nothing, or passive income if you will. Here are the results for the month of October, I made $63.19 in passive income, here’s the break down…

    • Interest: $11.13
    • Dividends: $13.22
    • Credit Card Rewards: $16.57
    • AdSense: $7.17
    • Text Ads: $15

This blog generated nothing in AdSense income, which is sad, I also didn’t end up doing anything with Revver, so no love there either.

  • Passive Income

As a freelancer my income is anything but steady, so in recent weeks I’ve undertaken the task of trying to generate some passive income through various projects. I’ll be posting a monthly report on how much I make through passive income, but first, here’s an overview of where my passive income will be (hopefully) coming from.

    This Blog:
The concept is simple, write about random things I have an opinion on, toss in a few Google Ads and hope somebody clicks… However, this money is split between myself and my fellow bloggers, so I doubt it’ll generate that much income.

    Google Adsense:
I run a random forum which I spend 3 minutes a week actually running, and again it has some Google Ads up on it, it currently makes enough to pay for its hosting (and the hosting of this site).

    LinkWorth:
I’ll be using LinkWorth to sell some text links on various sites that I run.

    Revver:
We’ll see just how many cents can be made uploading random videos to Revver.

    Dividends:
I have a few investments that pay out dividends, one monthly, the rest quarterly. I’ll be looking to add several more dividend stocks over the next 3-6 months.

    Interest:
Much like dividends, this could be considered cheating… but what the hey.

    Cash Back:
My credit card gives me “rewards” for spending money, and while I don’t plan on spending more money just to earn rewards, it’s a nice bonus. To take advantage, I’ve moved as many of my bills as I can over to my Chase card, I have to pay them anyway, so why not earn a little cash back?
