Terminal Tips: Part 1 No, I Am Iron Man! [The Late (Second) Opinion]
May 13

I don’t know if anyone still plays this game, I just downloaded it because I was bored last week. And since I really suck at video games I occasionally (read: all the time) turn to cheat codes.

There are tons of cheats available for the Windows version of Hitman: Contracts, but no where could I find any for the OS X version. Well, as it turns out it’s a Cider port, so it technically includes all the Windows files and by association the cheats. The problem is you can’t directly edit HitmanContracts.ini to enable the cheats like in the Windows version… or can you?

Answer is after the jump.

Right-click on the Hitman Contracts icon, and select Show Package Content.
Show Package Contents

Next click through the following directories: Contents -> Resources -> transgaming -> c_drive -> Program Files -> Hitman Contracts

Find HitmanContracts.ini, right-click on it and select Open With. Hit Other, and navigate to TextEdit, click Open.

Scroll to the bottom of the file and add the following lines of text:
EnableConsole 1
EnableCheats 1

It should look something like this:
Finished Product
Go to the File menu and select Save.

Now you can input any of the following cheats in the console by pressing the ~ key.

Invincibility god 1
Invisibility invisible
All weapons and items giveall
Most weapons and all ammo give some
Infinite ammunition infammo
Level skip end level
Spawn indicated item give [item name]

Use one of the following values with the “give [item name]” code:

weapon_ak47
weapon_aug
weapon_awp
weapon_deagle
weapon_elite
weapon_famas
weapon_fiveseven
weapon_g3sg1
weapon_glock18
weapon_m3
weapon_m4a1
weapon_mac10
weapon_mp5navy
weapon_p228
weapon_p90
weapon_scout
weapon_sg550
weapon_sg552
weapon_tmp
weapon_ump45
weapon_usp
weapon_xm1014

  1. Fred Smith Says:

Did you watch the movie and then download the game?

    You did didn’t you.

  2. Aaron Nelsen Says:

    Close.

I watched about five minutes of the movie, didn’t remember the game sucking so bad, so I downloaded a copy. Yeah, it’s almost as bad as the movie.
