  • Mint.app Updated

Mint.com just released build ph604.9 earlier today, and accordingly I have made a few minor changes to Mint.app.

The update reduces the total footprint for the application and also includes the latest release of the Fluid framework.

You can download the latest version from the Hijinks Inc. Repo.

  • Mint.app Beta

You can grab a copy of the beta from the Hijinks Repo. Everything required to run the application is included in the package.

Please report any bugs in the comments.

  • Mint.app

Mint.com is a great financial tool, but wouldn’t it be better if it more like a desktop app? Well, now it sort of is… My implementation is very basic, just a WebKit application layer, but it allows you to run Mint as a “standalone” application on your computer.

Obviously it only works on OS X, and requires Fluid to be installed, but both Fluid and Mint.app are included in the installation package.

Of course, an internet connection is still required.
    Mint.app - Login

Nothing fancy, but you may find it useful.

I’ve only tested it on my machine, so I’m looking for few other mac users to test the software for me. It doesn’t require that you have a Mint account to run it, but I highly suggest signing up for one! Send me an email (aaron [at] hijinksinc [dot] com) if you’re interested in taking it for a spin.

Once testing concludes, I’ll release it via the Hijinks Inc. Repo.

  • Mint Revisited (Build ph541.86)

I hadn’t even logged in to Mint at all over the last few months, but a couple days ago I decided to see what progress they’ve made since I last used it.

Right off the bat, I noticed they’d finally added support for brokerage accounts! Amazing! Only downside, the Add Account function doesn’t seem to work under Firefox 3 Beta 5, for shame!
