Despite my iPad crashing and needing to be restored, I managed to use 18.3GBs of data for the month of September. Bringing my total data usage for the year to 84.3GBs, I’m feeling pretty positive about breaking 100GBs total by the end of the year.
It will be interesting to see if my data usage decreases now that I’m also using the Droid X, which depending on data speeds I will most likely be using to tether to my laptop instead of the iPad.
Seems like my data consumption is averaging out a bit, last month I used 22.4GB, this month 27.4 so the mid-20GB range seems to be the sweet spot.
I’d still like to break 40GBs in a month, just to stick to AT&T, but I’m not going out of my way to make that happen.

At any rate, my data usage is down quite a bit from last month, only used 22.4GB for July.
I don’t expect to use much data in August either, as I’ll be out of town on vacation for a week and I tend to only use excessive amounts of bandwidth for work related things.

Last month I used 16GBs, this month I might’ve used a few GBs more.
37.1GBs! Suck it AT&T, you deserved worse considering you ditched the unlimited plans for new iPad 3G owners.
My first 30 days with my iPad 3G have come to a close and AT&T has sent me a confirmation email letting me know I’ve been charged for the next 30 days, not a nasty letter saying I use too much data. Even if that may be true.

Yes, that’s 16.2GBs of sweet bandwidth usage, not bad, right? Guess this means AT&T wasn’t lying about unlimited data… At least for now. Though I should note that I did cheat a bit and enabled the downloading of apps over 20MB from the App Store, which likely accounts for a few gigs of usage.
