  • Biggest Launch… Ever

I’m doing my best to throw out as much Microsoft news as I can to sorta offset all the Apple news you get on this site. It was only a matter of how much, rather than if Halo 3 would break the record for highest grossing sales in a 24 hour period. Well, they pretty much shattered the mark. I believe it was Spiderman 3 that held the old record of something like $150 million, Halo 3 just opened with $170 million in the first 24 hours. That’s freakin’ ridiculous. • Week 3 in review

Yeah, yeah, this is pretty late in the week to just be getting to a review for the past week, but let’s be honest here, Halo 3 has a way of sorta interfering with, what you’d call, life.

  • What will they think of next?

I figure this might as well become a series, that way I don’t have to come up with a new topic every time I want to share some cool link with you guys! Yay for laziness!

Anyway, I thought this was a good idea and if any of you are TV watchers, it might be handy. It’s called CAT (Calendar for TV). It’s a calendar that you can customize to only show your favorite shows, it gives you a quick synopsis about the show, you can adjust for your timezone, and even set it up for your own specific printer-friendly layout. I do most of my TV watching on DVD (except for Prison Break and after the little bit of “Back to You” that I caught last night, I might have to add that to the list) but this might be nice if you’re trying to track a bunch of shows.

  • Halo 3: The Review

Alright, I finally pulled myself away from Halo 3 long enough to give you a few quick blurbs for a review. The game definitely pulled through in a few areas, but I actually think they could have done better in a few others.

    More after the jump.

  • So easy even I can do it.

To understand that title, you have to know that I’m nowhere close to a cyber geek , or even a guy that really has a clue about websites. Strange then that I list web designer in my “career” list on our handy dandy About page. How does that work?
